The 2026 Toyota Corolla now comes standard with more driver safety technology and a larger digital gauge cluster on the XSE trim.

The biggest change for the 2026 Toyota Corolla is the addition of the standard digital gauge cluster. The 12.3-in digital gauge is standard on the XSE trim while the new 7-inch digital gauge cluster is standard on the LE and SE grades.

Highlights for the 2026 Toyota Corolla include:

  • Blind Spot Monitor w/ Rear Cross-Traffic Alert is Now Standard Across All Grades
  • Toyota Introduces 12.3-in. Digital Gauge Cluster Standard on XLE Grade
  • 7-in. Digital Gauge Cluster Standard on LE and SE Grades
  • Equipped with Fifth-Gen Toyota Hybrid System with up to a Manufacturer-Estimated 50 MPG Combined Rating
  • Front-Wheel Drive and All-Wheel Drive Options Available

Toyota offers two engine choices for the Corolla – one gas and one hybrid – for 2026.

The 2.0-liter four-cylinder gas engine produces 169 horsepower and 151 lb.-ft. of torque and returns a manufacturers’ estimated 35 MPG combined 

The hybrid Corolla offers an manufacturers’ estimated 47 MPG combined in all configurations including FWD or AWD. 

Toyota’s electronic on-demand FWD system remains optimal, giving buyers additional MPG without moving away from the hybrid setup.

The Corolla lineup continues offering an 8-inch touchscreen as standard equipment on lower trims, while SE can be equipped with the optional 10.5-inch display that is standard with the XSE grade. 

Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto remain standard. Plus, Toyota Safety Sense 3.0  that  includes features like Lane Departure Assist and Proactive Driving Assist.
