Starting in 2026, Jeep is simplifying its full-size SUV lineup. All models will now fall under the single “Jeep Grand Wagoneer” name, eliminating the previous “Wagoneer” sub-brand. Every version carries the Jeep badge, a big change from its introduction, reinforcing its heritage of capability and unifying the lineup for customers and dealers alike.

Customers will be able to choose between two advanced powertrains:

  • REEV (Range-Extended Electric Vehicle) – arriving later in 2026, this innovative system pairs a 92-kWh liquid-cooled battery pack with a 3.6-liter V6 generator. It delivers an estimated 647 horsepower, 620 lb.-ft. of torque, and 0–60 mph in just 5 seconds. With more than 500 miles of total range, it offers electric driving for daily use with the freedom of gas-powered range for long trips.
  • 3.0-liter Hurricane Twin Turbo I-6 – returning with 420 horsepower and 468 lb.-ft. of torque, this engine provides towing up to 10,000 lbs. and smooth performance over traditional V8 engines.

The 2026 Grand Wagoneer introduces a fresh design language: upright, confident and modern. The front fascia is taller and more squared-off, featuring a wide, illuminated seven-slot grille, raised headlamps, and full-width LED lighting front and rear. For the first time, Jeep has gone completely chrome-free, embracing sustainable finishes and a refined, modern aesthetic. New 18- to 22-inch wheels allow owners to tailor their SUV for either rugged adventure or urban sophistication.

Production begins later this year at the Warren Truck Assembly Plant in Michigan, which also builds the REEV variant as part of a $97.6 million investment in electrified vehicles.

Pricing for the REEV variant will be announced closer to when it goes on sale.
