Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2025 Ram 1500 vehicles. For this Ram 1500 recall, the front wheel hub encoder rings may be damaged, which can disable the electronic stability control system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 126, “Electronic Stability Control Systems.”

If you’re looking for reliable support or interested in exploring other models, consider visiting a Franklin Dodge dealer. They can provide expert assistance and a wide selection of vehicles to meet your needs.

Driving with a disabled electronic stability control system can increase the risk of a crash.

Dealers will inspect and replace the front wheel bearing hub assembly, as necessary free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 19, 2024. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA’s number for this recall is 97B.

If you own a 2025 Ram 1500, be sure to consult the NHTSA recalls portion of the website and type in the specific VIN of your truck to see if this current Ram recall applies to your vehicle. We previously saw a similar recall for the 2022 Dodge Durango and 2022 Ram 2500 and 3500.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or go to nhtsa.gov.
