This is a must-watch episode. Though Publisher Tim Esterdahl and Managing Editor Jill Ciminillo start off the episode talking about the Chicago Auto Show, it ends in an interesting challenge. But first, the auto show. Esterdahl and Ciminillo talk through the known reveals coming for the Toyota Grand Highlander, Subaru Crosstrek and Volkswagen Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport. They spend a considerable amount of time talking about the third row of the Grand Highlander, which has already been teased.
Ciminillo’s Rebelle Rally partner joined the episode for a few minutes, and they disclosed that their Hyundai Santa Cruz Rebelle truck will be on display at the Chicago Auto Show — with more news to come soon.
In addition to answering viewer questions, Esterdahl and Ciminillo also spent time discussing a recent article: Is new truck pricing really that out of control?
But the real must-see part of the episode is toward the end when a viewer challenged Ciminillo to play golf, a sport she hates, and vlog it when the channel hits 100k subscribers. To ensure Esterdahl didn’t feel left out, she said she’d play golf if Esterdahl ran a 5K with her. Was the challenge accepted? You better subscribe to find out.
Esterdahl and Ciminillo do weekly livestreams on YouTube, which are projected out to Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. In 2023, they are switching to a Monday/Tuesday schedule at 8 p.m. EST, so be sure to subscribe to the YouTube channel and follow them on social media for the upcoming live episode timing and topics. On second thought, I don’t think I want to run with you and Tim. I remember running 5K in highschool and it hurt. I just got caught up in the moment when you two talked about it.
I like what I’ve seen so far of Chicago. It’s going to be a great show.
