The Ram 100k mile warranty has been extended into the 2026 model year for new trucks and vans making it the best warranty on the market.
This 10-year/100,000 mile limited powertrain warranty is for the duration of the 2026 model-year and applies to all trucks and vans sold in the United States and Canada including the Ram RHO, Ram 2500 Power Wagon and the full Chassis Cab lineup excluding battery-electric vehicles.
It was initially planned to end on January 2, 2026 and after “overwhelming customer and dealer feedback,” Ram decided to extend it for another model year.
The warranty was rolled out last summer for 2025 models with Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis pointing out the current 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty doesn’t make much sense with 80% of new vehicle loans now exceeding 5 years. Â
The limited powertrain warranty is applicable to the original owner of 2026 model-year Ram trucks and vans. The warranty covers the engine, transmission, transfer case, driveshafts, differentials and axles for 10 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. Warranty offer includes retail purchases and leases to individuals and businesses, excluding fleet purchases.Â
