Chevy is celebrating the nation’s 250th birthday with a special edition that will span its lineup. “The Stars & Steel Collection celebrates a key milestone for the country that not only served as the birthplace of our brand but has also been its home for nearly 115 years,” said Scott Bell, vice president of Global Chevrolet. “Each vehicle in this collection is proudly assembled in the United States and honors the rich legacy of our nation.”
Why Its Important
For every Stars & Steel vehicle sold, Chevy will donate $250 to nonprofits that support the veteran community.
Available across five of the brand’s iconic and best-selling vehicles, the Stars & Steel Collection will be a highlight of the 2026 model lineup. The special edition will be sold on the Corvette, Silverado EV, Silverado 1500, Silverado HD, and Colorado. Each vehicle will receive a special exterior and interior color combination, an American flag-inspired graphics package, and select premium options that Chevy says “underscore patriotism.”
Each model was selected for this program because it is proudly assembled in the United States, which left out popular Chevy models like the Mexico-built Equinox SUV. The collection will make its first public appearance at the Army-Navy Game in Baltimore on December 13, 2025.
Colorado
The Colorado Stars & Steel Special Edition will be available on the Trail Boss Crew Cab, which is essentially a gussied-up Work Truck with off-road credentials. There are no changes to the 2.7L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. As with all Trail Boss models, it will be exclusively 4WD. The package is only available on Summit White or Black painted trucks with a black interior. Further additions include:

Chevy Silverado RST Crew Cab Short Box 4WD models were tapped for this special mission. All Stars & Steel Edition RST Silverados will have the brand’s 6.2L V8 under the hood and be painted Summit White or Black. Additional highlights include:

- Brembo performance brake system with red six-piston front calipers for ultimate braking confidence in towing and daily driving Black exhaust tips

Silverado EV
In an interesting turn of events, the Silverado EV Stars & Steel Edition will be available on the recently-discontinued RST trim. The RST bowed to make room in the lineup for the new Trail Boss. As with all the other models, it will be available exclusively in Summit White or Black with the Sky Cool Gray interior. Further highlights include:

- 24″ High-Gloss Black wheels
- All-new Brembo heavy duty brake system with red six-piston front calipers and larger 15.7-inch brake disc for improved pedal feel, fade resistance and stopping power in all conditions

Silverado HD
As it should be, the Silverado HD Stars & Steel Edition will come exclusively with the 6.6L Duramax Diesel and the now non-Allison-branded 10-speed automatic transmission. Silverado LTZ Crew Cab Trail Boss 4WD models serve as the starting point, adding the following upgrades:
