A big part of fleet ownership these days is monitoring the trucks and the Ford Pro telematics suite of programs is both great for fleet managers and Ford’s bottom line.

Here are 2026 updates:

  • Complimentary-for-life Ford Pro Telematics Essentials subscription, providing live fleet insights through the Ford Pro Telematics Drive App, vehicle health insights, dealer scheduling, and maintenance and service tracking.
  • Available Ford Pro Vehicle Integration System 2.0 (VIS 2.0) simplifies the upfit process and supports seamless upfit integration. Instead of relying on legacy auxiliary switches, customers can program over 100 different vehicle signals and upfit commands and activate them using their vehicle touchscreen, or by using custom logic.

2026 Ford F-Series Diesel Emissions Equipment?

Finally, with EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin announcing the agency is looking to rollback GHG emission rules, this has caused a lot of confusion for diesel truck fans who thought he said he was doing away with diesel emissions equipment.

The 2026 Ford F-Series Super Duty Power Stroke diesel has no change to the emissions equipment.

Also, the EPA’s document on the proposed rule change states it will not be addressing those systems, “we are retaining and not proposing to reopen any criteria pollutant and air toxics standards for highway light-, medium-, and heavy duty vehicles and engines under CAA section 202(a).”

Criteria pollutants includes: carbon monoxide, lead, ground-level ozone, particulate matter, nitrogen dioxide and sulfur dioxide.

Particulate matter is a key one for diesel truck owners since the diesel particulate filter’s primary job is the removal of this pollutant. Modern DPF’s can remove up to 85% of the PM from the engine.

With the EPA stating quite clearly it is not going to reopen and it will retain the standards for PM emissions, there will be no change for diesel emissions systems.

This has been confirmed by several organizations including SEMA and the Engine Technology Forum.
