2025 full-size trucks cost $100k

A new year may mean a new truck in the driveway, so we took a look at the top 5 most expensive half-ton pickup trucks for 2026 from each brand, fully loaded with all the options. This list looks exclusively at half-ton, internal combustion pickups. We added all the options and added the vehicle destination fees, but ignored current offers and discounts.

2026 Chevy Silverado 1500 ZR2 AEV Bison – $92,603

The most affordable half-ton for 2026, with all options added, is the Chevy Silverado 1500 ZR2 AEV Bison, specifically with the 6.2L V8 engine. While the 3.0L Duramax diesel would personally be my preference, the 6.2L allows for the addition of an $850 “Performance Air Intake System” and a $195 dual-exit “Active Exhaust” with sport-mode enabled.

Highlights:

  • 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 Engine
  • 420 horsepower
  • 460 lb-ft of torque
  • 10-speed automatic
  • ZR2 Suspension Packaged with DSSV Multimatic Dampers
  • AEV® front chassis skid plate
  • AEV® transfer case skid plate
  • AEV® rear differential skid plate
  • AEV® fuel tank skid plate
  • AEV® front and rear stamped steel bumper with heavy-duty cast recovery points
  • Multi-Flex tailgate
  • 18″ Gloss Black AEV® wheels
  • 18″ AEV® aluminum spare wheel
  • Rocker protection
  • Rocker protection is limited or not available on all models.
  • AEV® branded floor liners

Toyota offers a lot of additional options that helped this one sneak in above the Chevy in the list. Add-ons include a $2,500 Dometic Rooftop tent, $1,709 ARB fridge/freezer, and a $990 ARB portable compressor, to name a few.

Highlights:

  • 3.4L i-Force Max V6 Engine
  • 437 horsepower
  • 583 lb-ft of torque
  • 10-speed automatic transmission
  • Load-leveling air suspension
  • Tow Tech Package with Wireless Trailer Camera System

2026 GM Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate – $99,639

Flirting with 6-figures, the General’s most expensive pickup is a luxurious dream. Our $1,095 Glacier White Tricoat paint was only the tip of the iceberg when considering this model starts at $84,400. Much like the Chevy, the 6.2L V8 is required to hit this price point as it allows for the addition of an $850 performance air intake and $395 exhaust calibration. We also have a $3,895 Brembo brake upgrade package.

The AT4X model does add a lot of luxury to what the Chevy ZR2 AEV Bison brought to the table, but this Denali Ultimate is the priciest GMC offers.

Highlights:

  • 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 Engine
  • 420 horsepower
  • 460 lb-ft of torque
  • 10-speed automatic transmission
  • Alpine Umber Full-grain leather front seats with heat, ventilation, and massage
  • Front 6-Piston Brembo Brake Upgrade with Color-Matched Rear Calipers
  • GMC MultiPro tailgate Step Lights
  • Hard Folding Truck Bed Cover by RealTruck Advantage

2026 Ram 1500 RHO – $100,459

With the New Year’s Day announcement of the return of the Apex Predator TRX model, this list will obviously change for the 2027 model year, but for 2026, the RHO is the best the brand offers, and the most expensive. A loaded Tungsten luxury trim is actually more affordable than the GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate. In order to cross into the 6-figure realm on this RHO, we had to add a lot to this trim that starts just north of $73,000, including a $9,995 RHO Level 1 Equipment Group package that added luxurious touches like seat memory, premium audio, and a head-up display, among other things.

Highlights:

  • 3.0L I6 Hurricane HO Twin Turbo
  • 540 horsepower
  • 521 lb-ft of torque
  • 8-speed automatic transmission
  • 10-year & 100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty
  • Bilstein® Black Hawk® e2 Shock System
  • MagnaFlow® SPEQ Series Cat-Back Performance Exhaust System
  • High-speed E-locker Rear Acel
  • Launch Control
  • 13+ inches of wheel travel

2026 Ford F-150 Raptor R – $122,265

Tipping the scales at an eye-watering $122,265, this 5.2L V8-equipped super truck adds nearly $40,000 in options over the $79,005 starting price. That is more in options on this truck than the $39,330 starting price of a 2026 XL trim.

For that monster of a price, you get a monster of an off-road racer. Proven at high speeds in places like Baja, the 2026 Raptor R is the best in the segment for showroom floor off-road racers. Dual-Valve Fox Racing Shocks, 37-inch tires, and a blazing fast 720 horsepower V8 make this the king, if only until the Ram TRX returns for 2027.

Highlights:

  • 5.2L Supercharged V8 Engine
  • 720 horsepower
  • 640 lb-ft of torque
  • 10-speed automatic transmission
  • 37-inch tall tires
  • Fox Racing Shox with 3.1-inch dampers
