New reality show pits 15 drivers against one another for a coveted slot on a Ram-sponsored NASCAR racing team.
If high-powered pickup trucks slewing around a NASCAR track at high speeds is your idea of a good time, buckle up for the debut of Race For the Seat.
Making It to the Big Race

This new reality-TV venture, focused on drivers trying to get into NASCAR racing, offers the winner a spot on the Kaulig Racing team, driving a Ram 1500 in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
Color Commentary

To get there, they’ll have to out compete one another, on tracks including Virginia International Raceway and South Boston (Va.) Speedway, over the course of eight episodes. Hosted by Jacob Lofland, with commentary from UFC CEO Dana White, Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis, and Kaulig Racing Team owner Matt Kaulig, the show will also offer all the drama, emotion, and narrative of reality TV along with the racing.
The Competitors

“Race for the Seat is a great opportunity for the next generation of drivers to show what they’ve got,” writes Kaulig in the release. “Working with Ram to bring this show to life allows us to think differently, push the limits, and give these talented drivers a platform they wouldn’t normally have. I can’t wait to see who earns the seat and joins us on the track.”
Where to Find It

The show debuts on Fox on Sunday, January 25, at 12 p.m. Eastern, with new episodes coming out on Ram’s official YouTube Channel for the show from January 26 through February 6. Race For The Seat episodes will also be available on FS1. Check local listings. You can also follow the show on all major social media platforms under the @racefortheseat handle.
