The 2027 Ram TRX is officially back, after a short hiatus, and this time it returns with more than just brute force. Ram has revived its storied SRT performance brand and applied it directly to the TRX, signaling that this is not a simple continuation of the previous truck but a sharper, more deliberate evolution. With 777 horsepower, a supercharged 6.2-liter V8, and a six-figure price tag, the SRT Ram TRX reclaims its position at the very top of Ram’s off-road hierarchy.
SRT Branding and Powertrain Details

The biggest headline is the return of 6.2-liter supercharged V8, but not with the same old 702 horsepower. Nope. This time it gets the SRT performance added to it.
The new Ram TRX 6.2-liter V8 raided the parts bin increasing horsepower to 777 and the team slapped the SRT badge on the truck. This SRT badge should have been on the truck all along in their view.
It is capable of going from 0-60 MPH in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 118 MPH. Also, it is the only high-performance spot truck with Hands-free Active Drive Assist (Level 2+) capability.)
This horsepower along with the 680 lb-ft of torque means this truck is now the Apex predator again and, yup, the rumble is back.
A new “Bloodshot” Night Edition features Blacktop exterior upper paint, a Flame Red painted center hood stripe with matching accents, distinctive splash graphics, carbon fiber interior trim with red detailing, a glass-encased center console badge and red-outline TRX badging
Plus, it still rides on the 35″ tires with adequate run for even larger tires for those who want a little more.
While the TRX badge and signature exhaust confirm that Ram’s halo off-road truck is once again loud in every sense of the word.
Suspension Updates and Interior Technology

While the overall formula remains recognizable, Ram made targeted updates to handle the TRX’s additional mass.
Revised suspension tuning is designed to better manage the weight of the supercharged V8 while maintaining the truck’s high-speed desert-running capability. It uses second-gen Bilstein Black Hawk e2 adaptive shocks, Ram Active Terrain Dyanmics and 14 inches of maximum suspension travel.
Inside, the TRX carries over Ram’s familiar upscale interior, paired with performance-focused drive modes and suspension settings.
Like other high-performance Ram trucks, the TRX features on-screen performance pages, adjustable transmission and suspension settings and a dedicated launch control button for maximum acceleration.
Pricing and Position in Ram’s Off-Road Lineup

The SRT Ram TRX sits firmly at the top of Ram’s off-road lineup, both in capability and cost.
Pricing lands just shy of $100,000 before destination fees and the likely dealer markups, putting it roughly $20,000 to $30,000 above the Ram RHO. It is notably cheaper than the Ford Raptor R by $10,000.
Below the TRX, Ram’s off-road range starts with the Warlock, to the Rebel, to the RHO, each offering increasing levels of capability and performance. The TRX is the extreme end of that ladder—an ultra-high-performance off-road racing truck built for buyers who want maximum power and presence, regardless of price.
Demand and Market Outlook

Ram executives expect demand to be strong, just as it was during the previous TRX production run, when nearly every truck was sold via customer orders rather than dealer inventory.
With the SRT badge reinstated and performance numbers that still dominate the segment, the revived Ram TRX is positioned to sell every unit Ram can build.
For buyers seeking the most powerful and aggressive off-road pickup on the market, the SRT Ram TRX is once again the benchmark.
