The 2025 Jeep Gladiator changes have been revealed with new standard equipment, no manual transmission, a new 4xe model and a new price.
2025 Jeep Gladiator changes
First, the 2025 Jeep Gladiator will have a plug-in hybrid variant called the 4xe. The Gladiator 4xe will use existing technology already used in the Jeep lineup to provide miles of electric-only range and a gas engine for longer trips. You will be able to plug this model in to charge the battery.
Jeep says the Gladiator 4xe will be available sometime in the 2025 model year.
Other changes include:
- Standard eight-speed automatic transmission
- Standard power lock and power windows
- New Fathom Blue and military olive drab-inspired ’41 exterior paint color
- Active Cabin Ventilation (available) allows customers to pre-condition their vehicle’s cabin, evacuating hot air in warmer weather, via the Jeep Connect mobile app before entering the vehicle
2025 Jeep Gladiator price
Another change is the starting price for the 2025 Gladiator.
Jeep has “repositioned” the starting price to below $40,000 with the $1,895 destination fee.

The 2024 Jeep Gladiator starting price is actually a few hundred dollars less than the 2025 model, however, the automatic transmission and power door locks and windows were options adding a few thousand to the price. This means, depending on how you look at it, the 2025 is now cheaper than the 2024 model.
The bottom line
The 2025 Jeep Gladiator drops the manual, adds the PHEV version and lowers the price with more standard equipment. This seems like a win-win for consumers, unless you really wanted the manual transmission then, well, you are out of luck.
