The 2024 full-size truck lineup sees many changes for this model year such as the Nissan Titan going away, a new Ford F-150 coming out, the last hurrah for the Ram TRX and a GM is pushing out their 3.0-liter LZ0 Duramax diesel into more trims.

2024 Chevy Silverado 1500

Base price: $40,090
Trims: WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, High Country
What’s new: Changes for the 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 include the ZR2 is now offered with a 3.0-liter LZ0 Duramax diesel, the base 2.7-liter turbocharged engine is now called TurboMax, the 6.2-liter V-8 engine gets a new active dual exhaust, and a Blackout Package is available for all trim — including a special High Country Midnight Edition.

2024 GMC Sierra 1500

Base price: $40,890
Trims: PRO, SLE, Elevation, SLT, AT4, Denali, Denali Ultimate, AT4X
What’s new: Changes for the 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 include the AT4X base engine is now the 3.0-liter LZ0 Duramax diesel; Denali, Denali Ultimate, AT4 and AT4X get new power retractable steps; there is a new available active exhaust for Denali, Denali Ultimate, AT4, AT4X and SLT; there are two additional premium aluminum wheels; and new colors include Downpour Metallic and Thunderstorm Gray.

2024 Ford F-150

Base price: TBD, 2023 base pricing was $35,830
Trims: XL, XLT, STX, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Limited, Tremor, Raptor
What’s new: The 2024 Ford F-150 got a refresh with new grille, modular bumper, new tailgate that swings out from the middle, new STX trim, better pricing for the PowerBoost. Pricing is still TBD at the time of this post.

2024 Ram 1500

Base price: $40,565
Trims: Tradesman, Tradesman HFE, Big Horn, Laramie, Rebel, Limited Longhorn, Limited, TRX
What’s new: The 2024 Ram 1500 sees a few changes. This is the last call for the Ram TRX with new unique exterior colors, the Ram 1500 Tradesman Warlock returns with off-road features, and the Tailgate Ajar warning light is standard equipment. There are a lot more changes coming next year with an all-new 2025 Ram 1500.

2024 Toyota Tundra

Base price: $41,815
Trims: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition, TRD Pro, Capstone
What’s new: The 2024 Toyota Tundra sees small changes like the once TRD-Pro-only Solar Octane color is now available on other trims, the new Terra Pro color is exclusive for TRD-Pro, Lunar Rock is now available in Platinum, there are price increases on all trims, and the TRD Off-Road models get Nightshade package.

2024 Nissan Titan

Base price: $42,245
Trims: S, SV, PRO-4X, Platinum Reserve
What’s new: The big news for the 2024 Nissan Titan is that this is the last year you can buy a new one. It is being discontinued after this model year. Nissan did add a new SV Bronze Edition with wheels of those same color and black-out exterior pieces on mirrors, badges, grille surround, etc.

The bottom line

This certainly is a mixture of small to major changes for the 2024 full-size truck lineup. I think this will go down as one of the more memorable years with the loss of the Nissan Titan and the new F-150. The other brands have small changes that don’t add up to a whole lot. It will be interesting to see what changes next year and how the new 2025 Ram 1500 shakes things up with its Ramcharger offering.
