Move over Braptor, Hennessey just unveiled the Ford Bronco VelociRaptor 500, the most powerful version of the off-road rig.
Henessey, a well-known vehicle modifier, once again takes a stock vehicle and makes it into a lust-worthy machine.
Ford Bronco VelociRaptor 500 oozes cool
With a dyno-proven 500 horsepower and 550 pound-feet of torque, the Ford Bronco VelociRaptor 500 pushes the 3.0-liter V-6 engine to a whole new level. Currently, the top version of the Ford Bronco is the Raptor model with 418 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque.
Hennessey says it improved on those numbers by adding a “enhanced air induction, a high-capacity intercooler with a blow-off valve and proprietary engine management system tuning improve charge cooling and increase intake boost to enhance output.” They also spent time testing the VelociRaptor 500 in Colorado with winter low-temperatures and at high-altitude to make sure it was up to task.
Along with the under-the-hood changes, the VelociRaptor comes with unique 10-spoke, 20-inch alloy wheels and 37-inch off-road tires as found on the Sasquatch package offered by Ford. Plus, the exterior gets some love with custom VelociRaptor bumpers, LED off-road lights and VelociRaptor 500 Bronco badging. Inside, there are Hennessey embrodiered head rests, all-weather floor mats and a unique build number plaque.

Sure, this thing is insane and is likely more rig than most people know what to do with, but who cares? That’s not the point. The point is you would have the most badass version of the Ford Bronco, and all your neighbors will drool over it. That’s never a bad thing.
