In this week’s episode of Talkin’ Trucks, Publisher Tim Esterdahl and Managing Editor discuss everything from cleaning blood out of your truck bed (deer blood, that is) to our father’s Buicks — and every off topic in between. On topic, however, they kicked off the show discussing their 2023 reliable trucks series that launched last week with full-size trucks and will continue this week with midsize trucks and HD trucks.
Next up, Ciminillo and Esterdahl took a look at the changes to the 2024 Buick Encore GX, which include a bigger infotainment screen, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and exterior styling changes.
The final big-topic issue centered around General Motors’ slowed production of its popular Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks because there’s too much supply on lots right now.
And, as always, there was plenty of off-topic discussion as Ciminillo and Esterdahl answer viewer questions about when the Lexus TX will make an appearance, what they thought of the Toyota Grand Highlander, whether Porsche has been at a recent auto show — and much more!
Esterdahl and Ciminillo do weekly livestreams on YouTube, which are projected out to Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. In 2023, they are switching to a Monday/Tuesday schedule at 8 p.m. EST, so be sure to subscribe to the YouTube channel and follow them on social media for the upcoming live episode timing and topics.
