In this last Livestream of the year, Managing Editor Jill Ciminillo and Publisher Tim Esterdahl look back at trends, what they accomplished and the best and worst 2022 trucks and SUVs.
The Livestream kicks off with a quick discussion of the current weather front impacting the entire country basically. Keep warm out there! Then Ciminillo addresses some viewers questions on the Toyota RAV4 hybrid vs the Honda CR-V hybrid as well as the Rivian R1S.
Then, it is time to go over the best and worst vehicles for the year.
Ciminillo and Esterdahl mostly agree on the truck list with the Silverado ZR2 and the F-150 Tremor. With SUVs, there is more discussion from Ciminillo on the best with Esterdahl mostly focusing on trucks.
For the worst vehicles, the discussion is pretty interesting with throwing in some EVs as well as discussing the GMC Hummer EV, the Toyota Sequoia and then Ciminillo discussing the big misses from Volkswagen.
Esterdahl also tosses in a teaser about an upcoming video with the Ram 2500 Rebel with the Cummins diesel and, well, how rough of a riding truck this one turned out to be.
During the conversation, they both discuss how much they have learned about electric vehicles in the past year as well as admitting they both make mistakes and learn from them.
