Building on an already good SUV, the 2023 Chevy Blazer has been refreshed to make it even more appealing.
The Chevy Blazer, no, not the old body-on-frame SUV, has been reintroduced as a 2-row unibody SUV with sleek lines and unique interior design elements. For the 2023 model year, Chevy has made several changes compared to the 2019 model.
2023 Chevy Blazer styling
One of the more obvious changes is going to be the front fascia. The 2023 model will have a new grille design, LED headlamps, LED daytime running lamps and new taillamps on the rear.
The new LED lights really do change the look of the SUV compared to the prior generation. This is especially the case with the LED daytime running lights which really give the SUV a futuristic look.
Finishing off the changes are going to be new 18-, 20- and 21-inch wheels available for the five different trim levels (LT, 2LT, 3LT, RS and Premier).
Interior, tech changes
For the interior and tech changes, it is a pretty short list.
Basically, there is a new nightshift blue interior color available on the RS trim.
Then, there is a new 10-inch diagonal center screen on all models and wireless charging is now available on all models.
More standard safety equipment
Finishing off the short list of changes are the safety features and, in this case, it is the driver assistance features.
For the 2023 model year, adaptive cruise control is now offered on 2LT and 3LT models.
Also, the Chevy Safety Assist package is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, following distance indicator, forward collision alert, front pedestrian braking, lane keep assist with lane departure warning and Intellibeam automatic high beams.
The bottom line
As with most refreshed models, there is a short list of changes for the 2023 Chevy Blazer. It is a solid competitor in the crowded midsize SUV field and these changes are simply necessary to keep pace.
