Our friend Jordan Golson, subscribe to his substack, used the ChatGPT add-on Dall-E. This add-on use computer generation to render images like the 2025 Ram 1500 images you can browse in the gallery below.
2025 Ram 1500 exterior, interior design
As someone who has been in this business for well over a decade, I have a grasp on the idea of evolutionary change rather than revolutionary. It definitely seems that way with most company designers focused on cutting edge electric vehicle design rather than really updated ICE vehicles like the Ram 1500.
With this in mind, I asked Golson to render the 2025 Ram 1500 images as an evolutionary take on a new truck and they didn’t disappoint.
The first few images are wild design concepts like I’ve seen brands share after the reveal. Next are some pretty damn realistic looking photos showing slight changes to the hood, the grille and the side profile mirrors the current design.
These renderings looking like the current design make sense due to how ChatGPT Dall-E references existing images to render new ones. Plus, again, evolutionary change rather than revolutionary.
Inside the interior is quite a bit different especially when you get to the fun “give me a ton of cupholders” request. The big changes are the screen which will likely not be accurate. it is more likely they keep the large vehicle screen, yet it is fun to imagine what it would look like with a more vertical screen.
The dial shifter remains, though, it hard to see and the rest of the interior looks pretty evolutionary.
What’s under the hood? Recent spy photos suggest the 3.0-liter inline six gasoline Hurricane engine will take the place of the Pentastar V-6 and could even replace the 5.7-liter V8 HEMI. This is due to how powerful the Hurricane engine can be with the right tune making the HEMI obsolete.
Ram has officially said a new 2025 Ram 1500 will be unveiled early 2024.
The bottom line
Fun pictures to look at and day dream. I do think some of the designs might be pretty darn close to the real thing while others, the selfies (!), are just good humor.
