2026 Ford F-150 Pricing

The 2026 Ford F-150 pricing is out and compared to 2025 most of the prices are either slightly lower, modestly higher or they see a big drop in price like King Ranch and Platinum trims.

Drivers interested in these updated price shifts can explore options through listings of F-150 for sale Texas, where dealerships highlight the newest trims and incentives. This helps buyers compare features, savings, and availability more effectively.

There’s a lot going on with the prices for the 2026 model that is mostly a carryover except for the addition of gasoline particulate filters. It was supposed to be a new generation of the truck, but got pushed back to the 2027 model year.

Here is how the truck prices compare to the prior year.

The destination fee is the same at $2,595 and is not included in the above prices.

Base model F-150 largely unchanged

Starting at the base model XL, you can still buy a regular cab, 8’ bed, 5.0-liter V8 truck like you have in year’s past.

Next, the more popular Super Cab (extended cab) and Super Crew (crew cab) models of the XL, STX and XLT are pretty much the same for features on the base setups.

Ford still offers an assortment of engines as well with the 2.7-liter V6 EcoBoost, 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost and PowerBoost and the 5.0-liter V8 all mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

How much would a popular F-150 truck cost now versus 2021?

A few years ago, I bought a 2021 Ford F-150 XLT with the new Powerboost hybrid setup with the 7.2kWh power-onboard. This was a great truck that started off my new business plan of buying a new truck every year for the business.

The XLT is one of the volume selling trims for Ford, so let’s compare them.

With this in mind, I built this truck on the Ford website and this year, the closest I could get is $67,540 and that’s without the tan interior, the chrome package and the dual-panel moonroof. If I added any of those options, I’d either have to change the exterior color from antimatter blue or go up another equipment package, like with the moonroof, adding $6,980 to the price.

I bought the 2021 F-150 with all of these features and it was priced at $61,485.

Oh and the destination charge back then was $1,695. It is now $2,595.

2026 F-150 King Ranch got cheaper?

The big news from the pricing is both the top “luxury” trims of the King Ranch and Platinum models got cheaper. What’s going on?

First, flipping back and forth from the 2025 to 2026 build and price tool on Ford.com, you will find the 2025 models of the Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum all came standard with 4×4 included. For 2026, 2WD is now the standard offering. Adding 4WD increases the price by $3,800.

Second, there is now a new base level package for both trims with, what appears to be, a less expensive seating material choice. This is less clear with the King Ranch offering “front leather bucket seats with King Ranch badge” in the base trim and then for $2,065 more offers “multicontour leather bucket seats with Active Motion and King Ranch Badge.”

Active Motion offers lumbar and side bolsters plus you get power-deployable running boards and a 14 speaker B&O sound system.

2026 F-150 Platinum cheaper as well?

For the Platinum trim, the same thing applies with 2WD being the base option and now a base model package being standard. Here is how it all breaks down.

New 700A base equipment group package now includes everything in the Lariat plus:

  • 20” Painted Gloss Ebony Black Wheels
  • 6” Extended Angular Black Step Bar
  • Pro Power Onboard – 400 W (Cab and Bed)
  • BlueCruise Hands-Free Highway Driving Equipped (1-year + 90 Day Plan)
  • Leather-Wrapped and Heated Steering Wheel with Platinum Logo
  • Power Tilt/Telescoping with Memory
  • Heated Rear Seats
  • Lockable Fold-flat Storage
  • Mobile Office Package
  • Bed Utility Package

You have to spend $1,350 for the multicontour bucket seats with Active Motion in the 701A equipment group that also includes power-deployable running boards, flow-through console and floor shifter.

Moving up to the 701A likely means the Active Motion is a seat insert for the high-wear locations like the bolster areas.

For the Platinum High 702A equipment group, your $6,395 upcharge adds B&O Unleashed Sound System by Bang & Olufsen with HD Radio (14 speakers including subwoofer) and a Head-up Display.

Ford also offers yet another option to take it up another notch. The Platinum plus package really adds the luxury to the F-150 with standard 4X4 and a whole list of options:

  • 22” Premium Painted with Chrome Insert Wheel
  • Platinum Hood Lettering
  • Wheel Well Liner
  • Satin – Single Exhaust
  • Platinum Plus Exterior Theme
  • Platinum Plus Interior Theme
  • Full Quilted Leather Seats with Platinum® Badge
  • Leather-Wrapped Instrument Panel
  • Floor Liner – Tray Style
  • Illuminated Scuff Plate
  • Platinum Plus Experience: 2 Year Maintenance Plan; Elite Welcome Call, Package and Tribute Item; Accessories Discount (90 day); FordPass Rewards Points; 1:1 Texting with Ford Truck Expert

It is available with Agate Black Metallic, Carbonized Gray Metallic, Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Marsh Gray and Star White Metallic Tri-Coat Exterior Paint Colors.

For reference, the 2025 Platinum came standard with the 701A equipment group with:

  • 20” Gloss Black Wheels
  • Power-Deployable Running Boards – Black
  • Unique Multicontour Front Seats with Active Motion
  • Heated Rear Seats
  • Pro Power Onboard- 2kW
  • Ford BlueCruise Hands-Free Highway Driving Equipped (1-year Plan)
  • Mobile Office Package
  • Bed Utility Package
  • Tow/Haul Package

The starting price for the 2025 F-150 Platinum was also about $8,000 more.
