The Midwest Overlanding & Off-Road Expo (MOORE Expo), the largest overlanding and off-road event in the Midwest, will return to Springfield, Missouri, on April 17–18, 2026, promising another action-packed weekend of adventure, education, and community.
Now in its seventh year, MOORE Expo has grown from a small regional gathering into a nationally recognized destination for overlanders, off-roaders, and outdoor enthusiasts. Each year, the event draws thousands of attendees and features more than 200 industry-leading brands, making it a cornerstone of the U.S. overlanding scene.
“MOORE Expo was built on the spirit of connection,” said Chris Holloway, Founder of MOORE Expo. “While the big shows are backed with billions in revenue and hundreds of employees, we’ve built something unique right here in the Midwest — a place where overlanders, off-roaders, and outdoor enthusiasts can meet in the middle and grow together as a community.”
Andrew Kinsman, Marketing Director at Midland Radio, echoed that sentiment. “The energy at MOORE Expo is unlike anywhere else,” Kinsman said. “It’s where brands and enthusiasts truly connect — hands-on, face-to-face, and with the authenticity that defines Midwest adventure culture.”
Event Highlights for 2026
- Massive Exhibitor Showcase: 200+ brands featuring the latest rigs, gear, and overlanding technology.
- Hands-On Education: 70 hours of workshops and classes teaching practical, real-world adventure skills.
- Overland Trading Post: A swap-style marketplace where outdoor gear gets a second life.
- Storyteller Row Fundraiser: A one-of-a-kind content creator competition raising money for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
- Campground Culture: Onsite camping fosters a weekend of camaraderie, storytelling, and community under the Missouri sky.
With Springfield serving as a central hub—easily reachable from Kansas City, St. Louis, Tulsa, and Little Rock—MOORE Expo remains the “meet in the middle” rally point for overlanders across the nation.
“MOORE Expo represents the come-up of our industry in the Midwest,” Holloway added. “We’re proving that you don’t have to go to the coast to find the best gear, the best people, and the best stories. It’s all happening right here in the heartland — and people are traveling here because of it.”
