Bucking Hemi

The lost Ram Bucking Hemi has been recovered just a few days after it went missing yet not everyone is pleased.

The Oakland County Sheriff has a few things to say about the whole disappearing bull trick.

Ram Recovers Bucking Hemi

In case you missed the news, Ram has a new Bucking Hemi rideable machine thrilling spectators trying to hang on 15-seconds all in the name of an exclusive t-shirt.

If you are brave, or drunk enough, to handle the beast, you get a shirt proudly stating “I rode the HEMI to redline, and it was Bucking Awesome.” The t-shirt can’t be purchased.

The Bucking Hemi mechanical thrill ride is shaped into a real-life display of the new “Symbol of Protest” logo Ram has used when it brought back the 5.7-liter V8 Hemi engine. It has dual 1HP motors, a 5kVA diesel generator and can generate 43.8 spins per minute.

It was a fun marketing item to be displayed at booths Ram was putting up at NASCAR events promoting the brands return to the sport.

Then, it was stolen. And Ram filed a police report, sent the media a press release and shared images on social media asking the public’s help in finding it.

Was It Really Stolen?

While Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis was furious over the Ram Bucking Hemi being stolen saying, “This is Bullsh*t!” Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard agreed.

“Well, it may indeed have been BS,” he wrote in a statement.

He claims the company didn’t actually lose the bull and instead wasted his detectives time with their nonsense.

“The company never actually lost the bull,” said Bouchard. “I find this to be very frustrating and a tremendous waste of valuable investigative time.”

Not so Fast Ram Says!

The next morning, Ram celebrated the return of the long-lost bull claiming it indeed was lost to the company thanks to a contractor’s mistake.

“We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who rallied behind us and worked to bring RAM’s Bucking HEMI home,” Ram said in a statement. “Notably, we are extremely grateful and sincerely appreciate the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office’s assistance in this matter.”

“After 67 hours of uncertainty and a 1,200-mile roundtrip journey to and from North Carolina , Bucking HEMI has returned home. It was mistakenly taken by one of the show contractors, who realized the error after media coverage brought it to their attention.”

The bottom line

The bull is home, the contractor screwed up, the Sheriff is pissed off and Ram has overused the word Bullsh*t for a few days. We will see you next week on Day’s of Our Bull Lives.
